A Brief Introduction of

Jamia Haqqania Akora Khattak

Foundation:

In 1947, when Sheikh ul hadith Maulana Abdul Haq came to his village Akora Khattak on holidays from Deoband, the partition of India and Pakistan started to take place, which is why going back to Deoband was a problem for him. Even though Hazrat Maulana Syed Hussain Ahmad Madani (R.H) offered him security all the way back on governmental level, his father did not allow him to go back in such uncomfortable conditions. And because now he was known as a successful teacher in Deoband, Students from all around started to head to Akora Khattak. Which is why in 1947 (A.D) he started to teach in a small nearby mosque, this was the year of the foundation of Jamia Haqqania.

The First Chancellor:

Sheikh ul hadith Maulana Abdul Haq (R.A) was the first chancellor, from 1947 to 1988.

The Second Chancellor:

After the death of Maulana Abdul Haq (R.A) in 1988, his son Maulana Sami ul Haq was chosen as the new chancellor on September 7 1988 (A.D). Who is the chancellor till this day.

The Vice Chancellor:

Sheik ul Hadith Hazrat Maulana Anwar ul Haq was chosen as the Vice Chancellor, who is also a Hadith teacher in the Jamia.

Advisory Board:

This is a free and an independent institute composed of seventy sincere members  who are the elites of the area. The institution is affiliated with the Wafaqul Madaris Arabia, Multan, Pakistan. Its (High level degree) is equivalent to the degree of Al Azhar (Egypt) and other Universities of repute in Pakistan.
